YES! Here is how it's done.
Your site serves to educate the site visitor enough for him to make a buying decision then either sign up as a member (like you did) and buy a starter or he could decide to pay full retail price.
MEMBER SIGNUP & PURCHASE
FIRST WAY -
If you click on ORDER NOW you'll see a pop-out that opens.
From this button, your site visitor has three choices.
1. They can click the green button, ENROLL NOW to be immediately taken to your sign-up page at Young Living, with your number pre-filled - and enroll to become a member. This is used usually when you have already spoken to someone and you tell them to go to your site and click that button to get signed up.
2. They can click the button on the lower left, "PAY RETAIL PRICE" and purchase from Young Living as a retail customer.
NOTE: Please scroll down the page to see how YL has changed how a customer orders retail. We would hope that a person who wants to order retail would first look at the "learn more" page, so they understand what is going to happen in order for them to order retail.
3. Or they can click on LEARN MORE to read more about the two options (membership or retail customer), see what that looks like in the screenshot below this one.
THIS IS WHAT HAPPENS WHEN THE ORDER NOW BUTTON IS CLICKED:
THIS IS A SNIPPET OF THE "LEARN MORE" PAGE GIVING BOTH ORDERING OPTIONS:
SECOND WAY -
Every starter kit has a BUY NOW button next to each of them. If they click it - they are taken to Young Living's website to enroll as a member and get the starter kit.
On Young Living's site, that person will fill out and select several things before it comes to the section where your number is prefilled - (it is in the 3rd screen on YL's site).
If you entered your YL ID number correctly in your website settings, this works seamlessly.
TO TEST YOUR BUTTON - You should always check this button with the RIGHT-CLICK, and choose "Open In a Private Window" or an "incognito window". This advice is because you're a member and YL's cookies hold your data in the browser.
RETAIL CUSTOMER ORDERING OPTION
On a rare occasion, a site visitor only wants to order at full price.
Young Living has recently changed this up on their website.
A person used to go to the same screen as signing up for membership then they would select "become a retail customer".
Now when a person wants to buy retail, they have to go directly to Young Living's website to select the products they want.
During their checkout, they would have an opportunity to fill in the ID number of the person who referred them. And of course, Young Living's site offers them one last chance to become a member and save money.
YOUR ESSENTY WEBSITE HAS YOU COVERED HERE
Your Essenty site takes them to Young Living's product page to start selecting products and it has YOUR ID# embedded so it will pre-fill in during the checkout process.
TO TEST YOUR BUTTON FOR RETAIL - Just click the button and when it arrives at Young Living's website, you will notice in the website's address bar that your member ID is in the string of the address, meaning it is going to embed it for them as they go through the checkout process.
We hope these explanations help you.
